He served as the elected and twice re-elected Judge of the 80th District Court of Harris County, Texas for 12 years, through December 31, 2020. During that time, Judge Weiman led all civil district courts in Harris County with 364 Jury Trials and over 250 Non-Jury Trials (614+ total). Prior to serving as a district judge, he was a litigation and trial lawyer for 18 years in courts all over Texas. Judge Weiman earned his law degree at South Texas College of Law-Houston and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Boston University and attended the University of Texas. Prior to earning his law degree, Judge Weiman was a licensed Texas Commercial Real Estate Broker and Developer/Builder and owner of Weiman Properties 12 years. He brings that background plus his 30 years of extensive legal experience to the mediation process to help each party objectively evaluate their respective cases. Judge Weiman's strong analytical and communication skills, along with his creative problem-solving abilities, will be focused on a productive mediation that maximizes the opportunity for a mutually satisfactory and beneficial settlement.
